From 1 January 2008 under new EU farm-to-fork hygiene legislation, pig producers are classified as food producers and with it a whole new tranche of paperwork needs to be filled in every time a batch of pigs is sent to an abattoir. This is called Food Chain Information (FCI).

The online FCI Service has now been combined with the AML2 movement licence so that you can complete both forms electronically with a few simple clicks of the mouse to avoid additional paperwork. The 'eAML2' can be accessed on www.eaml2.org.uk and you can continue using the same log in and password.
